Mobu Gems was founded in 1998 as a premiere resource for fine gems and gemstones from around the world. Through our connections and expertise that we’ve built throughout the years, we are able to provide unparalleled quality and service in sourcing precious and semi-precious gemstones. We are located in the historical Los Angeles Downtown Jewelry District.

Our gemstones are sourced from all over the world. We buy rough stones and use our gemstone cutting facility to process the rough products. This allows for us to maximize the brilliance of the gemstones bring out their nicest colors. Among the many gemstones we carry, we specialize in tanzanite, sapphire, padparadscha sapphire, ruby, spinel, alexandrite and tsavorite.
